Art Basel Miami 2016 meets Little Havana with a splash of cigar art, rum, music and of course cigars.
It’s that time of year again, one of the world’s biggest art weeks, Art Basel Miami kicks off tomorrow December 1st,through the 4th. Amidst the Miami Art Week and Art Basel, is Mark Richmond’s art showcase in Little Havana, along the world famous Calle Ocho, in Miami.
Not only does Mark Richmond run Divi Dojo, creating artistic and business savvy websites, his artwork is represented by various galleries across the U.S. and Hawaii.
At this year’s Art Basel Miami, Mark’s art focuses on the romanticism of Cuba, cigars, rum, dominoes, old cars, and the famous color palette of the centuries old Spanish architecture, that you see along the streets of much of Cuba.

Mark Wesley Richmond
Artist and Designer
Born in 1969 in Pasadena, CA, Mark Richmond’s unique style combines the use of ink, acrylic and spray paint, on either wood or traditional large canvases. He describes his work as a “modernistic approach to ancient Japanese style”, although the subject matter in the paintings take on a more worldly thematic sequence. In this case, a Cuban theme.
